Google takes all

A really interesting article about Google which I pulled from digg.com. Basically talks about how Google has bought up most of the bandwidth on the internet and speculates about what it means, especially in light of some of their other business activity. Even if the speculation doesn't all pan out, some interesting thoughts on an area of business I don't know much about...

Listen to the music

So I've come across this cool music program called Songbird, which I really recommend. It basically is a audio media browser. You can use it to organize all the songs on your computer but, more than that, when you go to a particular website it will scan it for audio and allow you to listen and even download them. For songs that are not downloadable, it can create a web playlist, so whenever you want to hear it, it will stream it from the original site. Pretty cool...

Also, it has links built in to a bunch of music websites that are focused on new bands that haven't been discovered, which is nice if you're into that and don't know where to start.

And, lastly, check out a band called Voxtrot which my man Trex recommended to me, they have a really cool song called, "Trouble", which is well worth the free download from their site...
